Collaboration & Community!

We Are One In Six. My husband and I have personal experience dealing with infertility, failed treatment and pregnancy loss, and understand the rollercoaster of emotions, stress and challenges that occur with infertility. After struggling with fertility for several years, we were so excited to conceive naturally, but unfortunately, at our 8 week ultrasound we learned that the baby’s heart had stopped beating. What a traumatic experience.
This is why I am passionate about women’s health - supporting menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy loss and beyond.
This is why I have collaborated with other practitioners to offer holistic fertility support within the On Fertile Ground program.
This is why I spend time facilitating a fertility support group, to hold space for others, so they are not alone on what can be an isolating and confusing journey.
This is why I work to create awareness.
In early September I learned about the Fertility Matters Canada 6K campaign, an event designed to bring together those affected by fertility challenges in a meaningful way. Wanting to get involved, I created a team with my spouse and Amy Scott - owner of Straight 2 The Point Osteopathy & Wellness Clinic and founder of the On Fertile Ground program. Along with others who joined our team, we've raised $3975 and we still have 10 days left in our campaign!
If this resonates with you, I invite you to participate in this important campaign and event with us! To show your support you can Join Our Team (On Fertile Ground) to help raise funds, Make A Donation, or Join Us to Walk 6K.

Join us in the Fertility Matters Canada 6K! The 6K distance was chosen to represent the six million Canadians who are affected by fertility challenges.
Let’s Walk Together! We're hosting a community walk through Canatara Park, Saturday Oct 16th at 9:30 am, meeting in the most central part of the park (the Terry Fox Loop) at the cannon. Parking is available around the perimeter of the loop and at the beach.

I am walking to honour the baby I carried and lost.
I am walking to honour my husband and our fertility journey.
I am walking to honour my friends, family, and others impacted by fertility challenges.
Let’s honour, support, and create fertility awareness together to shed light on this important topic!
May we all grow more wise, calm and grounded in order to better support ourselves and those around us, Colleen
