Celebrate the Cycles & Rhythms of Nature

Let’s honour and celebrate the cycles and rhythms of nature!

There’s such beauty in weaving nature, self-care, health and healing. Self-care practices and rituals are nourishing and a beautiful way to honour yourself and improve your wellbeing - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Practicing rituals to align with the seasons and the different phases of the moon can be a powerful way to connect with nature and the cycles of life. This year the Fall Equinox aligns with the Full Moon, a perfect time for healing rituals and gathering the full moon’s energy.

Rituals and practices like meditation and yoga allow us to support ourselves on a holistic level; they allow us to slow down, restore and rebalance, especially in the evening under the light of the full moon! Integrated yoga – postures, breathing, mudra, meditation, and relaxation are effective self-care strategies that can enhance emotional balance and contribute to overall health and wellness.

When we come to stillness, we can open to receive whatever it is we truly need. The full moon is all about receptivity, taking things in physically and emotionally.

This is your invitation to…

  • Connect with others gathered around the fire in my backyard
  • Connect with yourself, the earth, the moon, the Universe - finding balance and harmony
  • Celebrate the cycles and rhythms of nature - Fall Equinox and the Full Harvest Moon
  • Slow down, turn inward and reflect, practicing presence, awareness and acceptance
  • Practice cleansing and clearing rituals to cleanse your body, spirit and energy
  • Let go, releasing what no longer serves you
  • Renew, finding inner stillness
  • Cultivate a compassionate heart, and a mind and body free of fear, worry, tension and stress

Yoga for the Full Moon & Fall Equinox

  • Explore postures, breathing, mudras (hand gestures), and guided meditation practices that nourish and activate the two most feminine energy centres: the heart-centre and the womb-space.
  • Connect the womb and the heart by practicing mudras to direct energy within the body and mind.
  • Connect to the earth - heart opening postures and practices, flowing movements, and hip opening poses connect and ground us to the nourishing energy of Mother Earth.
  • Nourish – moon gazing under the light of the full moon.
