Floating Meditation

This is your invitation to shift from the outside world into the present moment.


Cultivate a sense of calm and inner peace with a floating meditation at sunset! Balance the heat of the summer sun with the cooling energy of the moon and the element of water. Soothe your senses with a beautiful blend of sounds, scents, candlelight, and the meditative rhythm of the movement of water.

To prepare the body for rest our practice will begin by connecting with nature and the breath while listening to the mantra AUM. AUM represents universal consciousness; it is the seed sound of energy and vitality.


Deep Relaxation Practice: Waves of AUM

If you want to fill yourself with fresh energy or return back to the source of peace within you, this meditation is your energetic reset! This practice connects you with the fluid, purifying, nurturing quality of an energy that flows like water. By directing your focus inward and drawing prana to various points in the body, this deep relaxation practice may help with developing a sense of ease, releasing anxiety and stress, and detaching from negative emotions.

Floating Meditation - What To Expect:

  • Upon arrival, please use a soft voice/whisper. Turn your phone to silent to avoid distraction.
  • Remove your shoes within the entry.
  • Proceed to the side of the pool where we will assist you onto your raft.
  • You will be provided with a large beach towel/blanket, pillow, and eye mask to enjoy during the float.
  • If you need assistance at any time, simply raise your hand and Paresh will quietly wade over to help you.
  • There will be light movement in the water throughout the session to maintain flow.
  • Once the session ends, your raft will be escorted to the side of the pool for off-loading.
  • Riding the wave of relaxation, please maintain soft voices and silenced phones until you depart.

Frequently Asked Questions...

Will I get wet? You will step onto the first or second step of the pool ladder while getting on and off the raft (your feet and lower legs will get wet but will dry quickly). The rafts are 39"x74" with flocked gripping fabric (there is very little chance of falling off the raft once you are on). Raft weight capacity is 330lbs. After exiting your raft you can use the towel to dry your feet and legs if needed.


What should I wear? Please dress according to the weather. Wear something comfortable and easy to move in. If the temperature is cool, layers work well (hoodie/sweatshirt, pants that roll up to knees, socks to keep your feet warm once on the raft).


How should I prepare? Eat lightly, stay hydrated, and give yourself enough time to travel without rushing. Guests are welcome to use the washroom before floating.


Can I participate while pregnant? For safety we suggest remaining on land while pregnant.


How many spaces are available? Twelve rafts are available.


What is the timeframe for this event? Boarding will begin at 8:00pm. When all guests have settled in, the guided meditation will begin.


What if it rains? Mother nature is our guide. A refund will be given if cancellation is required due to rain.
