Fertility focused yoga and meditation supports women in nurturing their emotional and reproductive health, restoring fertility, and creating a receptive mind and body for conception. Fertility yoga is powerful! A yoga session designed specifically to support women trying to conceive offers a whole toolkit of powerful practices to work with. Whether choosing natural conception, medically assisted cycles, or assisted reproductive technologies, yoga can provide support and nourishment for fertility.
Essentially we concentrate on practices that have a direct influence on the health of the reproductive system. We work to bring warmth and energy to the reproductive organs to create space and release tension. We bring awareness to our heart and pay attention to our emotional needs, gaining strength of mind while reconnecting to our body's wisdom.

Supporting Research
A study by Dr. Alice Dumar at the Mind/Body Institute at Harvard Medical Centre (Mahrlig, p.17) showed that infertile women who practiced mind-body techniques that included yoga and meditation, conceived at a rate three times greater than that of the control group.
Within a year after the program, 55% of the mind-body group became pregnant compared to only 20% of the control group.
42% of the mind-body group’s pregnancies were conceived naturally as opposed to the 20% in the control group.
