Pawanmuktasana is a gentle yet powerful sequence of movements designed to relieve stiffness in the joints and support the free flow of energy throughout the body. In addition to traditional joint-freeing postures, this practice weaves in womb-centering movements that promote circulation and energy in the pelvic area. These postures are particularly beneficial for women, helping to balance the menstrual cycle, promote fertility, and offer grounding support during perimenopause and menopause.
This session closes with 2-3 restorative poses and breathwork to nourish the kidneys and adrenals, supporting the body’s capacity to trust, soften, and let go. The overall effect of this sequence is soothing and grounding, helping to ease feelings of stress and overwhelm, and bring you home to yourself.
